Rexnord Corporation

A maker of power-transmission parts — bearings, gears, couplings, and chains — that keep everything from mining conveyors to food plants running, sold under brands like Rexnord, Falk, Browning, and McGill. It started in 1891 in Milwaukee as the Chain Belt Company, built to replace the leather belting on farm equipment. The name comes from "Rex," a brand the firm coined in 1914 for its chain-driven concrete mixer; after a 2021 spinoff, the original entity became Zurn Water Solutions while the industrial business merged with Regal Beloit to become Regal Rexnord.
