Rice Acquisition Corp
A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) — a "blank check" firm with no operations of its own that raises money to merge with a private business and take it public — sponsored by the Rice Investment Group, run by the Rice brothers (Toby, Daniel, and Derek). The brothers founded the natural gas producer Rice Energy in 2007 and sold it to EQT in 2017. Their first SPAC merged with Archaea Energy to build a renewable natural gas platform later bought by bp; their second merged with NET Power, a clean-energy technology firm, in 2023.
Class A Common Stock — Closed business combination, renamed to Archaea Energy
