A maker of air brake systems and other safety parts for trucks and buses, SORL Auto Parts supplies big commercial-vehicle builders like FAW and Dongfeng, plus the repair aftermarket, from its home base in Ruian, China. The company grew out of the Rui'an Red Flag Auto Parts Factory founded in 1987, which later became the Ruili Group; SORL was its global brand, and in 2020 the Nasdaq-listed company merged back into Ruili to become its wholly-owned subsidiary. Fun fact: the same group that makes truck brakes also builds parts for trains and rail transit.
