A lender that helps people finance new and used cars, trucks, and SUVs by working with auto dealerships across the United States. It grew out of Drive Financial Services, founded in Dallas in 1997 to serve buyers who didn't fit the strict requirements of traditional banks, and was bought and renamed by Spain's Banco Santander in 2006. Fun fact: its founders came from auto dealership finance backgrounds, and its "Drive" name lives on in the Drive Together digital tool dealers use to pre-qualify shoppers without hurting their credit scores.
