Scana Corporation

SCANA was a South Carolina energy holding company whose main arm, South Carolina Electric & Gas (SCE&G), delivered electricity and natural gas to homes and businesses across the state. Its roots reach back to an 1846 Charleston gas-light company, and the SCANA name is simply a contraction of "South Carolina." After more than a century serving the Palmetto State, the company was folded into Dominion Energy in 2019.
