Schrodinger, Inc.
A maker of physics-based software that lets scientists simulate molecules on a computer, helping pharmaceutical, biotech, and materials companies design new drugs and materials before testing them in a lab. Founded in 1990 by two physicists, it was named after Erwin Schrödinger, the Nobel Prize-winning physicist famous for the "cat in a box" thought experiment — a nod to the quantum mechanics at the heart of its technology.
