Science Applications International Corporation
A U.S. government technology and engineering contractor, SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation) provides IT modernization, artificial intelligence, digital engineering, and mission-systems support to the military, NASA, and intelligence agencies. Founded in 1969 in La Jolla, California, by physicist J. Robert Beyster, the company began with underwater-explosion studies for the Navy. In 2013 it split in two, with the larger piece renamed Leidos and this unit keeping the original name.
