A biotechnology company that builds antibody-drug conjugates — cancer therapies that work like guided missiles, using antibodies to deliver cell-killing drugs straight to tumor cells. Founded in 1997 in Bothell, Washington as Seattle Genetics, it renamed itself Seagen in 2020, keeping the "SEA" from its Seattle roots.
