Sears Canada Inc
A Canadian department store chain, Sears Canada sold appliances, tools, clothing, furniture, and electronics through stores in malls and its famous mail-order catalogue. It was born in 1952 as Simpsons-Sears, a joint venture between the Canadian Robert Simpson Company and America's Sears, Roebuck and Co., and was renamed Sears Canada in 1984. For generations of Canadian families, the holiday "Wish Book" catalogue was a beloved tradition marking the start of Christmas shopping season.
