Sibanye Stillwater Limited
A South African mining group and one of the world's largest producers of platinum group metals — platinum, palladium, and rhodium — along with gold. It was born in 2013 when Gold Fields spun off its South African gold mines as Sibanye Gold; the name "Sibanye" means "we are one" in isiXhosa. In 2017 it bought Montana's Stillwater Mining Company, the only US producer of platinum and palladium, whose mines sit on the Stillwater Igneous Complex.
