Sigma Lithium Corporation
A mining company that digs up and processes lithium concentrate in Brazil's Minas Gerais state, selling the key ingredient used in electric-vehicle batteries. It began in 2012 with mineral exploration at its Grota do Cirilo site, and the company now called Sigma Lithium was once a shell firm named Margaux Red Capital before being renamed in 2018. Its name comes from the Greek letter Sigma, the math symbol for summation, fitting for a firm that markets its output as "green lithium" made with renewable power.
