Silvercrest Metals Inc

A Canadian precious metals company that explored for, developed, and ran high-grade silver and gold projects, most notably the Las Chispas mine in Sonora, Mexico. Founded by N. Eric Fier, it was born in 2015 as a spinoff of SilverCrest Mines Inc. after that older firm was bought out. Fun twist: Las Chispas was first found way back in the 1640s by a Spanish general — centuries before the modern company existed.
