Snyder'S-lance, Inc.
A maker of salty snacks, Snyder's-Lance is the company behind Snyder's of Hanover pretzels (the largest pretzel baker in the U.S.) plus brands like Cape Cod and Kettle potato chips and Lance crackers. It was born in 2010 when Snyder's of Hanover, from the Pennsylvania town of the same name, merged with North Carolina's Lance. The "Snyder" comes from Edward and Eda Snyder, who in the 1920s fried potato chips at home and sold them door-to-door.
