A retailer of new and used cars, one of the largest in the United States, running dealerships that sell brands like Toyota, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz alongside its EchoPark chain, which focuses on pre-owned vehicles. Founded in 1997 by O. Bruton Smith, a motorsports figure, and based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Despite the name, it has no connection to the Sonic Drive-In fast-food chain.
