A biopharmaceutical company that developed and sold medicines for cancer and blood disorders, most notably ROLVEDON, a supportive-care drug that helps chemotherapy patients rebuild infection-fighting white blood cells. It began life in 1987 as a Colorado company called Americus Funding Corporation, later renamed NeoTherapeutics, and took the name Spectrum Pharmaceuticals in 2002 as it shifted toward building a portfolio of oncology drugs. In 2023 it was acquired by Assertio Holdings and became a subsidiary of that company.
