Sprott Uranium Miners ETF
An exchange-traded fund that bundles together the stocks of uranium miners, explorers, and royalty holders from around the world, tracking the VettaFi Global Uranium Mining Index. It launched in December 2019 as the North Shore Global Uranium Mining ETF and was acquired and rebranded by Sprott, the asset manager founded by Canadian investor Eric Sprott in 1981. Unusually for a mining fund, it also holds physical uranium through the Sprott Physical Uranium Trust, so investors get a slice of the actual metal, not just the companies that dig it up.
