Steel Partners Holdings L.p.

A global diversified holding company that owns a wide range of industrial businesses, making steel tubing, composite fabrics, and building products used in everything from aircraft to construction. It was founded in 1990 by Warren Lichtenstein, who started the firm with his bar mitzvah money and named it "Steel" after his first investment, a galvanizing company. Today its portfolio even includes youth sports, running soccer and baseball programs through its Steel Sports arm.
