Stonemor Inc

A death-care company that owns and runs hundreds of cemeteries and funeral homes across the United States and Puerto Rico, selling burial lots, mausoleum crypts, caskets, and monuments, plus "pre-need" planning that lets people arrange their own services in advance. It began in 1999 as Cornerstone Family Services, later rebranding as StoneMor, and became the only publicly traded pure-play in its field before changing its name again to Everstory Partners in 2023. The old name was a neat pun—"Stone" for headstones and "Mor" from the Latin for death.
