Supermedia Inc
A major American publisher of yellow pages directories and local advertising services, SuperMedia Inc. was known for its SuperYellowPages® print books and the Superpages.com® online directory that helped small businesses reach local customers. It began as Idearc Inc., spun off from Verizon Communications in 2006, and rebranded as SuperMedia in 2010 after emerging from bankruptcy reorganization. In 2013 it merged with rival Dex One to form Dex Media, and its business later became part of the company now known as Thryv.
