Susser Holdings Corporation
A Texas-based operator of convenience stores, best known for its Stripes brand serving road-trippers and everyday shoppers across the Lone Star State. The business began in 1938 when Sam and Minna Susser opened two service stations in Corpus Christi, growing into a family fuel-and-retail operation. In 2006 the company ditched its licenses to run stores under other banners and launched its own brand, teasing the switch with a cheeky campaign: "Stripes are in, Circles are out."
