Trw Automotive Holdings Corp
A maker of automotive safety systems, TRW supplied airbags, seat belts, steering, and brakes to carmakers around the world. Its roots reach back to a Cleveland screw company founded in 1901, and its name comes from the 1958 merger of Thompson Products and the Ramo-Wooldridge Corporation, shortened to TRW in 1965. In 1994 it began producing the first gas-inflated airbags, and in 2015 the company was folded into German supplier ZF.
