Tw Telecom Inc

A provider of fiber-optic data, voice, and managed network services for businesses, government agencies, and other carriers, tw telecom built and ran high-speed Metro Ethernet and IP VPN connections across the United States. It began in 1993 as a joint venture between US West and Time Warner, and in 2008 it dropped "Time Warner" from its name to signal its independence, rebranding as tw telecom. The company was later absorbed by Level 3 Communications in 2014.
