Tahoe Resources Inc
A maker of silver and gold, Tahoe Resources was a mining company that dug precious metals from the ground in Guatemala, Peru, and Canada, with its Escobal mine in Guatemala among the world's largest silver deposits. Founded in 2009 by veteran miner Kevin McArthur (who had earlier run Glamis Gold and Goldcorp), it took its name from Lake Tahoe, near its Reno, Nevada, headquarters. In 2019 the company was bought up by fellow miner Pan American Silver.
