Under the merger, each Teck share will be exchanged for 1.3301 Anglo American ordinary shares, or, for eligible Canadian shareholders who elect, exchangeable shares of Anglo Teck Exchangeco Limited.
Registered shareholders must deposit a completed letter of transmittal with Computershare Investor Services Inc.; non-registered shareholders should contact their intermediary for instructions.
The election window is open, but the Election Deadline has not yet been determined; Teck expects to announce it at least seven business days in advance.
If a letter of transmittal is not properly completed and deposited before the third anniversary of closing, the right to receive consideration will terminate and be forfeited.
