Terraform Power Inc

A renewable energy company that owned and operated utility-scale solar and wind power plants across North America and Western Europe. It was created in 2014 by the solar developer SunEdison as a "yieldco" — a company built to hold operating power assets and pay steady dividends — and was originally called SunEdison Yieldco. Its name comes from "terraform," the science-fiction term for reshaping a planet to be Earth-like, coined in a 1942 short story.
