The Thai Fund Inc
A closed-end investment fund that bought stocks of companies based in Thailand, giving American investors a way to own a slice of the Thai stock market. It was launched in 1988 and managed by Morgan Stanley Investment Management, trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker TTF. Its name was simply a plain description of its job — a fund focused on Thailand — and it wound down in early 2018 after three decades of operation.
