Treace Medical Concepts, Inc.
A medical technology company that makes instruments and implants for foot and ankle surgery, best known for the Lapiplasty procedure that corrects bunions in all three dimensions rather than just shaving off the bump. Founder John Treace started the Florida-based company in 2014 after years at another medical-device firm, naming it after himself. Its tools treat the unstable joint at the root of the bunion, not just the cosmetic lump, and surgeons have used them on well over a hundred thousand patients.
