Urs Corp
URS was an American engineering, design, and construction firm that planned and built infrastructure like roads, bridges, and airports, and served government agencies including the Defense Department and NASA. It began in 1951 as a small research group called Broadview Research, and took the name URS after buying United Research Incorporated — the acronym stands for United Research Services. It grew into one of the world's largest engineering firms before being acquired by AECOM in 2014.
