Vca Antech Inc

A veterinary healthcare company that runs a large network of animal hospitals across the US and Canada and, through its Antech Diagnostics division, performs lab tests for pets and other veterinarians. It was founded in 1986 by Robert and Arthur Antin and Neil Tauber as Veterinary Centers of America, shortened to VCA; the Antin brothers' last name inspired the "Antech" lab brand. Fun fact: the candy giant Mars, Inc. bought it in 2017 and now runs it alongside pet-care brands like Banfield.
