Veoneer Inc

A maker of automotive safety technology, Veoneer builds the cameras, radar, and restraint-control electronics that help cars see the road, brake on their own, and deploy airbags and seatbelts in a crash. It was born in 2018 as a spin-off from Autoliv, the Swedish-American safety giant, which kept its airbags and seatbelts while Veoneer took the electronics and driver-assistance side. The name is a coined word meant to evoke a "visionary pioneer" in mobility.
