Verso Corporation

A maker of coated papers — the glossy sheets used in magazines, catalogs, and advertising inserts — Verso was born in 2006 when International Paper spun off its coated-paper mills, taking its name from the printing term for a book's left-hand page. In 2015 it merged with rival NewPage to become one of North America's largest coated-paper producers, with mills spread across the United States.
