A Hong Kong maker of electronic learning toys, VTech is the company behind the VTech and LeapFrog brands of kids' tablets, smartwatches and interactive toys that parents buy for children around the world. Founded in 1976, its name is short for "Video Technology," a nod to its early roots in video games and electronic learning. It grew into one of the world's largest makers of children's educational electronics, adding the LeapFrog brand to its family in 2016.
