Vuzix Corp

A maker of smart glasses and augmented-reality eyewear, Vuzix builds wearable displays used by workers in warehouses, factories, and field service, as well as by consumers. Founded in 1997 in West Henrietta, New York, the company grew out of early work on head-mounted displays and now sells products under its own brand. Its name is a play on "view" and "optics," reflecting its focus on putting information in front of the wearer's eyes.
