Welsbach Technology Metals Acquisition Corp.
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, formed in 2021 to find and merge with a business in the technology metals and energy transition critical materials sector — the rare earths and battery materials behind magnets and electric-vehicle power. It took its name from Carl Auer von Welsbach, the Austrian chemist who pioneered rare-earth chemistry and invented the incandescent gas mantle in 1885. In early 2026 the company completed its merger with Evolution Metals LLC, becoming Evolution Metals & Technologies Corp., which builds a U.S.-based supply chain for critical minerals through recycling and advanced manufacturing.
Class A Common Stock — Merged with Evolution Metals LLC in January 2026; now trades as EMAT on Nasdaq
