Yotta Acquisition Corporation
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC—a shell firm created to raise money from investors and later merge with or buy an operating business, often taking it public along the way. Yotta was set up in the United States as a blank check vehicle hunting for a company to combine with, the modern twist on the classic shell-company model. SPACs like this raise cash through an initial public offering and hold it in trust while they shop for a target, typically with a time limit to strike a deal.
