Zayo Group Holdings, Inc.

A provider of fiber-optic network and bandwidth infrastructure, Zayo builds and operates the high-capacity fiber networks that carry data for businesses, mobile carriers, and data centers across North America and Europe. The company was formed in 2007 through the merger of several regional fiber companies, and its name comes from combining "Z" (the last letter) with "A" and "Y" to suggest covering the full alphabet of connectivity. Zayo also operates a network of data centers and offers dark fiber, wavelength, and colocation services to its customers.
