A cloud security company that protects organizations by replacing traditional hardware firewalls and VPNs with a cloud-based "Zero Trust" platform, verifying every connection before granting access. Its products, Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access, sit between users and the apps they use. Founded in 2007 by serial entrepreneur Jay Chaudhry, it was originally incorporated as SafeChannel before being renamed Zscaler—short for "Zenith of Scalability"—a year later.
