An investment vehicle formed in 2013 by Activision Blizzard's then-CEO Bobby Kotick and co-chairman Brian Kelly to help buy the game publisher out of its French owner Vivendi. The group, backed by investors including Tencent, purchased a large block of Activision shares so the maker of Call of Duty and World of Warcraft could become an independent, publicly owned company. Its "unit sealed" label in financial databases is just a technical marker on the fund's trading units.
