Tarkett Sadir
A maker of flooring for homes, schools, hospitals and stadiums, Tarkett produces vinyl, linoleum, carpet, wood, laminate and artificial turf. The modern company was born in 1997 when the French flooring firm Sommer-Allibert — itself the 1972 merger of Sommer, founded in 1880, and Allibert — joined with Germany's Tarkett AG. Beyond floors, its artificial turf and track surfaces are laid in sports venues worldwide.
