Arcadium Lithium Plc

One of the world's largest lithium producers, Arcadium Lithium makes the lithium chemicals — lithium hydroxide and lithium carbonate — that power electric-vehicle batteries, plus specialty lithium compounds used in everything from grease and glass to pharmaceuticals. The company was born in early 2024 from the merger of Livent, itself spun off from FMC Corporation's lithium business, and Allkem, which had grown from Australian lithium ventures. The name "Arcadium" nods to the element's discovery, evoking the "arc" of chemistry that unlocked this once-exotic metal.
