Austerlitz Acquisition Corp II
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, that raises money from public investors through an initial public offering with the goal of merging with a private business to bring it to the stock market. Sponsored by Bill Foley, the billionaire founder of the title insurance giant Fidelity National Financial, it is one of several similarly named Foley SPACs. The name nods to the Battle of Austerlitz, Napoleon's famous 1805 victory, a theme the sponsor reused across his blank-check ventures.
