Ball Corporation
A maker of aluminum beverage cans and aerospace technology, Ball Corporation produces the recyclable cans used for soda, beer, and other drinks worldwide, plus satellites and other space hardware. Founded in 1880 in Buffalo, New York, by five Ball brothers who started by making glass jars for home canning, the company kept its family name even as it pivoted to aluminum packaging. Fun fact: the same company that makes your beer can also builds spacecraft for NASA.
