Arclight Clean Transition Corp. II
A blank-check company that set out to fund the clean-energy shift, launched by the energy investor ArcLight Capital Partners as its second SPAC and taken public in 2021. In 2022 it merged with OPAL Fuels, a maker of renewable natural gas captured from landfills and dairy farms, and the combined firm now fuels heavy-duty truck fleets under the Nasdaq ticker OPAL. Its name quietly nods to both its Boston-based parent and the "energy transition" it was built to back.
