Blue World Acquisition Corporation
A blank-check company, or SPAC, that raised money through an initial public offering to buy a private business and take it public. Founded in 2021 in the Cayman Islands, it was named for the "blue economy" — it originally hunted for targets in marine leisure, cruise, and offshore energy. In 2024 it merged with TOYO Co., Ltd., a solar-cell maker, which then debuted on the Nasdaq under the ticker TOYO.
