Bally Technologies Inc
A maker of slot machines and casino management software, Bally Technologies builds the gaming equipment and player-tracking systems that power casinos worldwide. Its roots reach back to a Chicago company founded in 1932 that made its first big splash with a pinball game called "Ballyhoo" — which is where the "Bally" name comes from. Bally went on to become one of the gaming industry's biggest slot makers before being bought by Scientific Games in 2014.
