Delphi Technologies Plc

A maker of powertrain systems and components for cars, Delphi Technologies built engine, fuel, and emissions parts plus electrified-vehicle tech used by automakers worldwide. It was born in 2017 when Delphi Automotive split itself in two: the powertrain half became Delphi Technologies, while the rest was renamed Aptiv to focus on self-driving and connectivity. The Delphi name dates to 1995, when General Motors renamed its parts division after the ancient Greek site of the Oracle—a nod to wisdom and guidance.
