A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) — a "blank check" firm formed in 2020 to raise money and merge with a private technology company — DHC Acquisition Corp. completed its merger in 2024 with conversational AI provider Brand Engagement Network. Its name comes from "Duty, Honor, Country," the motto of the US Military Academy at West Point, a nod to its founders' military roots.
