Emerging Markets Horizon Corp

A special purpose acquisition company, or "blank check company," that raised money from public investors to find a technology or consumer business in Central and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet states, or Latin America to merge with. Founded in 2021 and led by Riccardo Orcel, it listed on the Nasdaq but never completed a merger, returning investors' money and liquidating in 2023.
