A social investing platform where everyday people can trade stocks, ETFs, cryptocurrencies, and more while watching and automatically copying the moves of other investors through its signature CopyTrader feature. Founded in 2007 in Tel Aviv by brothers Yoni and Ronen Assia with David Ring, it began life as a forex broker called RetailFX before rebranding that same year to eToro — Spanish for "the bull," a nod to its ambitions beyond currency trading.
