Fintech Evolution Acquisition Group
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC — a "blank check" firm created to raise money through an IPO and then merge with an existing business. FinTech Evolution Acquisition Group was formed in 2020 by financial-services veterans, including a former BlackRock executive, to hunt for a target in the fintech and technology-enabled services space. It listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker FTEV in 2021, but never found a merger partner and liquidated in early 2023, returning money to its shareholders.
Common stock — Liquidated in February 2023
